About the role
Save the Children is seeking an Information & Communications Coordinator to support its flood response operation in Nuwakot. The role bridges field teams and the Country Office communications unit, ensuring accurate, timely information reaches stakeholders and the public.
Key responsibilities
- Generate, compile, analyse and consolidate data for daily Situation Reports (SitReps) and other operational updates.
- Collect and verify response data from field teams, partners and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain organised records of response activities, beneficiary reach, achievements, challenges and emerging needs.
- Gather high‑quality photos, videos, beneficiary stories and human‑interest content for media use.
- Ensure field information is collected using approved tools, formats and reporting templates.
- Support the Media & Communications Coordinator in developing and finalising FAQs, key messages and other communication products.
Required profile
- Ready to join within 24 hours of offer and provide references for a background check.
- Child Safeguarding Level 3 clearance, as the role may involve regular contact with children or young people.
- Ability to work under pressure in a humanitarian emergency context.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
