Logistics Safety Operator - Cross-Border

About the role

Bitdeer Technologies Group, a Bitcoin mining technology company headquartered in Singapore, is hiring a Logistics Safety Operator for its Bhutan operations. The role covers end-to-end safety management of cross-border and domestic shipments, from route surveys and GPS monitoring to compliance checks, emergency response and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on-site route surveys for domestic and cross-border routes in Bhutan, plan optimal routes and re-inspect key routes regularly
• Set up 24-hour centralized monitoring, GPS control and a 7x24 shift system, with real-time visual monitoring of cross-border cargo and full traceability
• Track inland transport and last-mile delivery, verify delivery schedules, obtain proof of receipt and close deliveries
• Verify safety compliance materials, shipping documents, customs papers and qualification certificates throughout the chain
• Prepare emergency plans for customs detention, inspection, damage, GPS anomalies, accidents, border issues and hazardous materials, and record and archive incident handling
• Analyze logistics data (on-time delivery, exception rate, customs lead times, GPS online rate) and optimize monitoring rules
• Operate and maintain the GPS tracking platform and monitoring systems, coordinating with suppliers and vendors
• Archive safety documents (route surveys, inspection records, emergency plans, training logs, contracts) and build independent safety control systems for Bhutan
• Audit warehousing, loading/unloading, transport, customs clearance and delivery, issue safety audit reports and rectification plans
• Distribute daily monitoring reports and compile weekly and monthly summaries

Required profile

• Preferably 3 years of experience in cross-border logistics safety management, monitoring and GPS tracking
• Fluent English, oral and written, able to read and draft safety documents and communicate with customs brokers, transport companies and partners
• Proficiency in Bhutanese import/export customs regulations and cross-border safety standards
• Ability to work on site, travel between regions, and provide 7x24 on-call coverage including nights and holidays
• Experience building local safety systems and conducting field surveys, risk assessments and routing plans
