Hydro Mechanical Expert

About the role

We are seeking a Hydro Mechanical Expert to lead the design, installation, testing and commissioning of hydro‑mechanical components such as gates, hoists and steel linings for pressure shafts. The role will support projects across multiple continents, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for gates, hoists and steel lining systems used in pressure shaft applications.
• Oversee installation activities on site, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct testing and commissioning procedures to verify performance and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure all work complies with international codes and project specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in hydro‑mechanical design and installation.
• Proven international experience on at least two continents.
