Hydropower Expert – Team Leader

About the role

Surbanajurong is seeking a seasoned Hydropower Expert to lead a multidisciplinary team in the design, supervision and monitoring of large‑scale hydropower projects. The role combines technical engineering leadership with senior project‑management responsibilities across international sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design and detailed studies for hydropower installations.
• Supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor project performance, schedule and budget across multiple continents.
• Manage senior‑level project management tasks, including risk, quality and stakeholder coordination.
• Assist in ICB tender preparation and oversee construction supervision for hydropower contracts.
• Mentor and coordinate a multidisciplinary team to deliver project milestones.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Civil or Hydropower Engineering, with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in design, supervision and monitoring of hydropower projects.
• At least 5 years of senior‑level project management experience.
• Proven experience leading a team on a comparable hydropower project.
• International project exposure on at least two continents.
