CBS Manager – Core Banking System

About the role

The CBS Manager will lead the customization, testing, and deployment of enhancements to the Bank of Bhutan's Core Banking System (CBS). This role ensures smooth integration of CBS with other banking applications and oversees disaster recovery readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate customization requests and software enhancements with the CBS vendor, ensuring timely rollout of tested patches into the production environment.
• Conduct thorough testing, including regression testing, and prepare UAT reports for stakeholder sign‑off.
• Manage configuration, patch, update, and upgrade activities for the TCS BaNCS Core Banking system.
• Support integration of CBS with other banking applications and provide technical assistance for related products.
• Develop and deliver training content for end‑users and oversee branch roll‑outs.
• Draft and implement the IT Disaster Recovery Plan, ensuring CBS availability at the disaster recovery site.
• Produce management information reports and dashboards, and manage SLAs with application service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Candidate must be no older than 57 years on the last working day of application receipt.

Required skills

• Experience with TCS BaNCS Core Banking system.
• Core Banking System configuration, patch management, and integration.
