Program Associate – Private & Corporate Sector Engagement

About the role

World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is seeking a Program Associate to support private and corporate sector engagement, communications, and environmental education in its Bhutan office for a six‑month period.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management and execution of corporate partnership agreements, translating commitments into action plans and measurable outputs.
• Assist in relationship‑management with private donors and business entities, including those in Gelephu Mindfulness City.
• Prepare fundraising assets, pitch decks, and donor stewardship materials.
• Assist with environmental and social risk assessments and implementation of safeguards.
• Provide operational support for social media scheduling, content creation, and analytics monitoring.
• Format and layout recurring publications such as the Panda Quarterly Newsletter using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Maintain institutional archives of publications, photos, and audiovisual materials.
• Support event logistics, travel arrangements, and post‑event documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, environmental science, environmental education or a related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in communications, program support or environmental education.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about nature, conservation and sustainable development.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage corporate executives, youth and local communities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).
• Experience with Canva for design work.
• Competence in digital communication tools and stakeholder database management.
• Ability to monitor and analyse social‑media metrics.
